To coincide with Papier 15, the contemporary art fair devoted to works on paper, Galerie Simon Blais will showcase a selection of more than 35 such works by artists whom the gallery represents. With Papier Calque 2, for the second consecutive year, works on the most readily available two-dimensional support will be displayed on our walls in a variety of forms. The diverse series on view, the products of similar procedures, chromatic variations on the same composition, or arrangements of related visual elements, are by artists from different generations—Marie-Eve Beaulieu, Carol Bernier, Louis-Philippe Côté, Michel Goulet, Denis Juneau, Rita Letendre, François-Xavier Marange,Jean McEwen, Guido Molinari, Françoise Sullivan and Marc Séguin—and perfectly embody the distinctive features of their respective artistic practices.
