"Le temps du geste" is an unprecedented overview of Françoise Sullivan's pictorial work. Her artistic career began early, around 1940, but it was not until 1980 that she began to devote herself primarily to painting. Since then, the artist has continued to create relentlessly, reinventing herself and exploring various techniques.

This exhibition offers a new perspective on the work of this essential artist. The breadth of her output never ceases to amaze. It includes emblematic themes such as the red monochromes, a checkerboard "Damier" painting, a "Proportio", a canvas from the "Arundel" series and the "Aedh" series, alluding to an ancient Celtic divinity linked to fire and the underworld.
