The newspaper La Presse took an interest in the fate of Montreal galleries, which are among the only cultural institutions to remain open in these times of confinement due to COVID-19. It mentions the Galerie Simon Blais.
"The Galerie Simon Blais has remained open. Its two exhibitions (Unforeseen by Catherine Farish and Matières brutes by Marie-Ève Beaulieu) are on display until October 24, as planned. The sanitary measures are the same as before, we are told, except that the number of visitors is limited. Nora Saïeb, assistant at the gallery, tells us of a "maximum of five or six people"."
