Jean-Sébastien Denis presents his most recent series of works on canvas. He started this series 7 years ago and left it on hold. This year, he decided to finish these surfaces by reinterpreting them in a completely different way. These are six paintings created in two stages, a dialogue between two moments of life. Works made on mylar complete the exhibition.
Jean-Sébastien Denis' pictorial and installation works deal with the movement and instability of things. His approach to abstraction is inspired by the visual and physical experience of the world, its chaotic agitation and the multiple realities that meet it. The moving forces of nature, as well as the virtual flows and other circulatory spaces structuring reality are recorded and transposed into a hybrid plastic language, composed of different pictorial, graphic or sculptural processes that cohabit within heterogeneous spaces.
