We are pleased to share with you the arrival in our gallery of two exceptional works by major artists in Canadian art history.
The painting "Les indésirables" by Jean Paul Lemieux has never been exhibited. It was acquired by a collector directly from the artist around 1968, shortly after its creation. It is illustrated on page 178 of Lemieux, by Guy Robert, Stanké Éditeur, 1975.
Marcelle Ferron's "Untitled", painted in 1958, is one of the largest paintings ever done by the artist. It was acquired by a collector from our gallery 20 years ago, and is now back on the market. It was hung in the exhibition Marcelle Ferron, Paintings 1945-2000 at our gallery in 2002-2003.
These two works are available for sale and any request for information can be forwarded to us via the links below, using the button "Ask for quote".
